100 Iconic Gangster Movies

I just finished the section on Robert De Niro’s performances, and the breakdown of his method acting is spot-on. The book’s focus on lesser-known European gangster flicks really sets it apart. A solid pick for any crime film fan.

The chapter on Alain Delon’s early work alone is worth the price, and the filmography details at the back are surprisingly thorough for a coffee-table book. I’ve already spent two evenings just flipping through the De Niro sections and losing track of time.

The photos and stills from the Brando and Pacino films alone are worth the price. I've been flipping through it for a week and keep finding movies I'd forgotten about.
