Ilford Delta 400 35mm

Shooting at 400 speed but getting this kind of shadow detail feels like cheating, the sharpness holds up even when I push it a stop or two. The negatives have that smooth, dimensional look that scans beautifully without much fuss.

The tonal range on this is incredible; it kept so much detail in the shadows and highlights of a bright outdoor scene. I’m really impressed with how sharp the images came out at box speed.

Pushed this to 800 and shot a dim indoor market — the grain stayed tight and the shadow detail still held. Delta 400's tonal range handled the contrast beautifully, and the scans came out with that subtle depth I've been chasing.
