Ilford FP4+ 125 35mm

The fine grain on this film really shows when I make big prints—crisp detail even in the shadow areas. It's become my go-to for anything with tricky textures, like weathered brick or old wood.

I’ve been shooting this for street scenes and the sharpness holds up even when I crop in tight on a contact sheet. The fine grain means I can push it a stop in development without losing detail.

The tonal range on this film is just gorgeous in soft light, and it handles dense textures like brick walls without turning to mush. I've shot a few rolls now and every scan comes back with that classic, sturdy look. It's become my go-to for anything that needs to stay crisp.
