Ilford Ortho+ 80 35mm

The fine grain on this Ortho+ 80 gives landscapes a crisp, detailed look without harsh contrast. I shot it on a bright afternoon and was surprised how well it held the sky's texture.

Finally a film that handles bright skies without washing out highlights—the blue-green sensitivity really tames harsh midday light. I loaded a roll for a coastal hike and the mid-tones on wet rocks came out with beautiful, subtle detail.

Finally got a roll of this Ortho+ 80 developed and the landscape shots came out with that classic fine-grain look I was hoping for. The blue and green sensitivity really makes foliage and skies pop in a way standard panchromatic film doesn't.
