The flat bottom is a game-changer for breaking up those stubborn powder clumps at the bottom of the jug. Thick plastic feels sturdy enough to handle years of darkroom use without any flex or cracking.

I've mixed more batches of developer in the last month than in the last year, and this paddle just glides through the solution without flexing. The thick plastic feels solid in my hand, and that flat bottom really does mash up every last clump of powder without leaving residue stuck in a crevice.

The flat bottom is the part I didn't know I needed — it crushes up powder clumps against the beaker instead of just pushing them around. Thick plastic too, so it doesn't flex when the mix gets thick.
