Another new colour film from England, now available in 120 medium format!

HARMAN RED 125 can transform mundane scenes into dystopian masterpieces with hues of red, orange, and yellow.

– 125 iso colour film
– Made in England

From Harman:
"Redscale is the effect you get when shooting through the back of a colour film and exposing the red sensitive layer first, creating amazing results primarily consisting of reds, oranges and yellows.

With a DX coded cassette, edge signing and a box speed of ISO 125, HARMAN RED has a usable exposure range of EI 50 – 400. For best results we recommend shooting between EI 100 – 200 depending on scene brightness and contrast.

Depending upon the exposure and colour characteristics of a scene, images can range from strong “apocalyptic” looking bright orange and red tones to more subtle orange and green tones with delicate shadows.

Under exposure – Coarser grain, prominent shadows, deeper reds.
Normal exposure – Normal grain, Consistent orange tones, softer shadows.
Over Exposure – Finer grain – Brighter, more contrasty images, varying tones."

Grace I. ★★★★★

Loaded a roll and was genuinely surprised by how consistent the red tones are across different lighting conditions. Even in dull overcast weather, the 120 medium format kept those warm, almost painterly hues. Exposure latitude seems generous for a redscale stock, which made metering less stressful.

Ellie ★★★★★

Shot a roll in overcast light and was surprised by the deep, almost vintage color shifts—the redscale effect on thick 120 emulsion is really distinct. A roll lasts a while, too, which is nice for medium format.

Chloe ★★★★★

Finally tried the 120 version of this red-scale film and the color shifts are wild—deep reds with a warm, almost dreamy falloff in the shadows. It handles daylight really well for a 125-speed stock, and the grain is pleasantly noticeable without being harsh. Definitely grabbing another roll for my n
