Rollei Ortho 25 is a technical, orthochromatic black and white photographic film with a nominal sensitivity of ISO 25/15 °.
Ortho 25 offers exceptionally fine grain images with high sharpness.
It is commonly used for technical and scientific applications and as a half-tone film for pictorial photography, but can produce some impressive images used as a traditional black and white film too.
The crystal-clear RC base opens up the possibility of using the film as a B&W slide film also.

The fine grain on this film is honestly stunning for a 35mm stock, and even at ISO 25 the tonality in mid-greens feels almost creamy. I shot a whole roll in bright noon light and every brick texture held its own without any mush, exactly what I wanted for a slow technical film.
