Fomapan Action 400 35mm

The wide exposure latitude really saves your shots when the light shifts unexpectedly. I love how it handles overexposure, giving usable negatives even when my meter guess is off.

I’ve been shooting this stuff in mixed lighting conditions and the exposure latitude really does save me from blowing highlights or losing shadow detail. The grain is fine and sharp for a 400-speed film, which gives landscapes a crisp look I was not expecting.

Pushed a roll through my old rangefinder on a grey overcast day and the half-tones in the shadows came out lovely and smooth. Grain is finer than I expected for a 400 speed film, and it held up fine when I accidentally overexposed a few frames.
